So – the difference between 7 Rounds and 6 + 15 is Strawberry calling bullshit on me being 10 ft short of the cone when time expired.
this put Insane about 12 ft short and Ms. Strawberry about 15 ft short.

Sobering WOD for me today. After just two rounds it was blatantly evident that I need some serious work on the form of my snatches. 5 rounds and change Rx. Looking forward to getting back into the Oly Night sessions with Lance to work my snatch grip deadlifts, snatch pulls and snatch balances.
TK blew this one out of the water – looked like he was warming up with the 95# snatches.
First time doing deck squat burpees. Would have been completely lost if not for the flawlessly executed demonstration by Nelli!

@Brett…Haha so flawless, I know. So today got me pretty good. Snatches are definitely my weakness, thanks for the help Steve, that did make it feel better. I’ll be practicing. 5+15rx for me this morning, so close on the run to finish for the 6th round, oh well. Good job this morning roosters!

AMRAP – As many rounds as possible in a set amount of time.
RFT – Rounds for time (as long as it takes you to finish the set number of rounds)

Don’t sweat the distance from the front. I set up camp up there too – same spot for every WOD. This way – there’s no complaining that we’re moving around for the best time.
I just look at it as a challenge to push it on the runs – which are still getting better.

6 plus 5 today RX. I was trying to hang with CK but couldn’t he was too strong but it motivated me to keep my rear moving. CK see you for a double header Thursday 6am (JVIC) 7am WOD….
5+15 + an undetermined portion of the run before time was called, which I didn’t hear, so I just kept running until I saw everyone sitting on the floor inside. (but I would have finished the run anyway
) Chips – I think Double Header Thursday should become the official name of the Jvic + 7am wod combo!

Nice to be back in full effect. WOD was good today…lower back was cramping a bit, but not as bad as last Tuesday. Got to lessen the front then the back won’t be so bad. Oh, and I officially have a new exercise I hate…Deck Squat Burpees…treacherous!!! Starting to come around and feel good again…gonna take more time, but I’m in it!

Lance – I left a shirt for you in your shelf at TG. A friend of mine who was a member of Lifetime Fitness in Dallas did a drop in WOD with me at the Garage in December. He was instantly hooked and ended up joining Crossfit Strong in Dallas. He sent some shirts.
Felt so great to WOD today after the weekend off. Shoulda went a little heavier on the snatches. Next time!
