Nice rappin last night peeps!!! The snatches were looking good, today. A lot of you are really getting the idea of the “second pull”!!! And I love seeing a lot of you peeps, working on your weaknesses and trying to learn new skills.

Hi everyone! My youngest son, Owen, attends The Palm Beach School for Autism and they are having a silent auction in February. They are looking for items to be auctioned (Items, services, anything) to help raise money for this school. It costs the school approx $60k per child per year and they get very little of this from the state. They depend mostly on fundraisers like this one. Always fun working out with the roosters at tc. Thanks thunder for the great coaching. 18:18rx. It was also nice seeing abomb during the first 30sec of the wod after that all i saw was his dust.

Ready for todays WOD, except for the runs (not that running bothers me) it’s just were getting some freezing rain today, so I have to do the treadmill, other than that I’m ready to go.

Had a suite at the Panther game last night. I don’t like hockey, which left just eating terrible food and drinking terrible alcohol as the only entertaining options. That was not conducive to a good WOD this morning.

31:39RX. First time in a very long time that I’ve walked during 400M runs. I think the pull ups and deadlifts were 2-3 at a time at best. Not good. That’s why they invented tomorrow I think.

H4T, I love them too now that I can do them on the “real” rope :) Thanks Dirty Bird for spotting my last climb, I still get nervous on that rope by myself. Now, I really need to work on my pullups, even banded today, they were horrible. Need to learn to kip STAT.

Also, I know 9:30 Sat at HQ is cancelled, but are there still two Sat AM classes at TG?

Thought this would NEVER end. I finished last 30something must have been those runs…OR maybe it was the 5 minutes I lost when I got stuck mid way the rope and froze in fear just hanging on for dear life.

22:32 (I think), RX. I had a lot of exercise induced stupidity today. Nailed both knees on the bar during DL’s (after hitting my nose good on the snatch yesterday), was like “WTF are you talking about” when Lance was telling me to wrap my thumbs on the DL’s (don’t know why my I wasn’t gripping like I normally do), only did 10 DL’s per round until I realized right before the fifth round that it was 15. 35 in the last round got a little heavy. Good WOD otherwise!

Wow…3 rounds felt like enough today…nothing better than getting lapped by jnutts…must have been that patriotic outfit! Can’t feel my biceps now…can’t remember my time but longer than yours painkiller but i did rx it!!! Couldn’t feel my arms on the last 2 rope climbs after the ctbs!!! Thanks for all the shout outs…nothing beats doing an entire round solo b/c everyone else is done!

One thing I love about CFHC is our STRONG women! And by strong today I mean determined. I saw TOny and another 9:30 client (sorry did not catch your name) battle it out last rope climb. And came out VICTORIOUS! You girls are inspiring.
With that said Gator you owned this wod today. Chaos would be so proud of you. Too bad he missed it.
What a cool morning.
See you all for Endurance Class in the AM…It’s nice a warm out there lately. Won’t take long to break a sweat tomorrow. Judge you in?

Yes Nina but u got the RX!!! More than I can say. Failed on meeting all ctb – April said I was high enough but needed 2 pull into bar more!! Agh! Was really trying 2 get those down – another mountain 2 climb!! Painkiller 2 funny by round 5 I was staring at that rope and trying 2 buy time b4 I jumped!! Total fatigue!! 22:15 no rx

Vegas you workout way too much as it is. I would strongly advise you not to do Saturdays WOD and not to workout Friday either before Pendlay.

But they look alot better than they did 3 months ago!! And THUNDER what fun would it be if I didn’t talk smack. I had to give u a push somehow!!! And it worked!

Today was my last Wednesday class at HQ. Got a great rooster class in. Nellie and Dirty Bird kept me going. Huge 5:30 pm class. Hope you guys will come and wod at the Station once in a while to stay in touch. Wanted to thank Scrum and Prince for coming out to the Station today to help me with some touch up painting unpacking and cleaning. Thanks guys it really made a big difference having you there today. Dirty Bird I am happy to donate a private Training session, just call me 809-5182

How you know when a WOD has officially kicked your ass:

1). Mid-WOD, you want to cry
2). When you finish, you actually do cry, with relief
3). You still have 1 more round to go, and everyone else is putting their bars away
4). You are so jacked up that when you do put your bar away, you somehow manage to injure yourself.
5). You do not feel as though it is safe for you to drive home and need to give it some time before you get behind the wheel.

And finally

6). When you do get home, showering and eating seem like too much effort.

29:11 today and 2 of the rds I did 15 ctb instead of the 10..but.oh well thats the price you have to pay for being a moron:)

CSI…yes, nothing like the ‘real’ rope…for sure! You will get those kips in no time!!!….just imagine yourself pole valuting over a bar with your legs then use that momentum to push up! Easy. ;) HA! What a journey learning to kip is!!!

I haven’t had a jaw dropping “Oh wow” moment in a while at CFHC and that happened today.

I don’t WOD at HQ that often and as such I don’t know a lot of the people there. I was the 4th one out the door for the 2nd 400m run today. As I rounded the corner on the back side of the building I look ahead and see Queen leading the way with P-Nut behind her, someone else, then me. Then I hear the footsteps. These weren’t just normal footsteps, it sounded more like a metronome set at 160 beats/sec. Then from out of the corner of my eye, this flash of ponytail and tanktop whiz by me and the other 3 in front of me BEFORE we turn the corner towards the front of the building. Each round, I don’t think her running slowed down at all. I had to ask around to find out who that was…and it was 5K (I don’t even know your real name). Seriously girl, you’ve got just incredible wheels. Nice job.
