It doesn’t matter what brought you here: a devoted friend’s persistence, a coach or doctor’s recommendation, or maybe inspiration from the latest Reebok commercial…regardless, welcome to CrossFit Hardcore! The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are 50 years old, or have just completed your 50th marathon, are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…CrossFit will help you achieve your fitness goals. One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day, are designed for anyone to do them.
Our mission is to change our clients not only physically but mentally as well with a program that will challenge you like none other. Our goal is to make your body reach its maximum potential. And although genetics play a small role in your results, it is your commitment along with our trainer’s/coaches guidance that will get you over any hurdle.
Here is a fact; everybody can get into shape. The key to your success is hard work, a strong support system, as well as a knowledgeable trainer/coach. Any success worth achieving requires hard work and determination, we will show you how to be your best.
CrossFit Hardcore will train you with motivation, intensity, and above all safety. We do not believe in gimmicks, short cuts, or the easy way out. We know we can change anyone, and everyone’s body, the only requirement is commitment. Training with a trainer is a team effort. The trainers/coaches will provide the motivation and instructional information for you to successfully complete your program. Our knowledge and your effort together will make a positive change in your life.
Every session has at least one and most likely 2 coaches, and by the way, we coach/train like having your own personal trainer. Thus ensuring proper technique and guidance. We try not to accommodate more that twelve people per class, but rest assured our coaches will provide you with safety, motivation and a shot of “intensity”, that will take your fitness to a whole new level.
“Scalability” is a word that you will hear frequently here at CrossFit Hardcore. During each class, everyone does the same workout, but that workout will always have several scaling options. This makes it possible for all of us – with our different body types, personal goals and levels of ability – to work alongside one another safely. We motivate one another, cheer one another on, and sometimes participate in some healthy competition. But, ultimately, every workout is yours alone. Your workout = your pace.
At CrossFit Hardcore, we view nutrition from a health perspective rather than solely weight loss. It is a fact, that nutrition is eighty percent of your training and the quickest way to achieve your results. We do not believe in diets, we follow a solid sound eating plan. We will show you how to eat balanced meals that will quickly become a part of your lifestyle. We want you to be fit and healthy! And remember a skinny individual doesnt always equal a healthy individual. Every person’s body type and chemistry is different. Our lifestyle eating programs are personalized to your needs, body composition, and daily activity. We take all of this into consideration in providing a plan just for you.

It is a globally recognized fitness program that’s proven to deliver results. It works, it’s fun and affordable. It will change your life and fitness will become your passion.
Before you decide to join a CrossFit gym, or "box", you need to make certain that it is a true affiliate. This ensures the trainers have completed the necessary levels of certification. The good news is CrossFit Hardcore is one of 3,500 true affiliates around the world, so you are in the right place. The bad news is that not every place that says 'CrossFit' is a true affiliate. Check up on our status as an affiliate her: crossfit.com/cf-affiliates. Take a few minutes to make sure the people teaching CrossFit movements to you are endorsed and certified by CrossFit®.
Once you have narrowed down the (official) affiliates you want to try to take the time to visit. Talk with the trainers, talk with the members. Spend time observing a morning class or an afternoon class. By just being in the space you will learn a lot about class structure and the trainers personalities.
Although the fundamentals of CrossFit are the same wherever one goes, it is safe to say no two boxes look the same. What matters most is that you feel comfortable in the space. Is it clean? Is the equipment easily accessed? Is there room to move around? Don't ignore a small gym: some boxes are tiny but very well organized, and a smaller box equates to smaller class size. Most boxes don't have a wall of mirrors (if any at all). There may be a stationary bike or some rowers, but no machines. Decide for yourself if it's the environment for you. Trust your gut!
At most big gyms there is no need or desire to get to know the people next to you on the elliptical or StairMaster machine. They are probably too busy watching TV or reading a magazine. CrossFit, on the other hand, is one hundred percent all about the people you "throw down with" every day. As CrossFit increasingly becomes a bigger part of your life, so too will your fellow CrossFitters. You don't have to like everyone, but don't be surprised if it turns out you do.
